Try to sleep early, i.e., 10-10:30 pm. This will maintain your ability to retain topics and reduce stress.

Checking or visiting the exam centre before the exam is one of the main things to do on the day before the NEET exam will be crucial. So, check the exact location of your centre. Visit the centre physically and try to reach it one hour before the scheduled time.

You must have made short last-minute notes during the preparation throughout the year. This is the time to utilise all those short notes. Revise all the topics before the NEET exam using those notes. Make sure you don’t touch any new topic. Reading any new topic can put you under stress and affect retention.

Do not eat outside food before the exam; consume home-cooked food. Include fibre and protein in your diet. If it is the summer season, keep the body hydrated by drinking 5-6 glasses of water a day. Wake up in the morning, take a short walk, and meditate. Remember that you can’t afford any irregular meal risk, as you have to be very normal and healthy on the exam day.

On the exam day, wake up and do yoga or meditation. Stay calm and do not divert your mind to any other subject. Moreover, do not talk to any classmate or batchmate about exam preparation before the exam.

According to the NTA guidelines, any aspirant, male or female, is prohibited from wearing metal watches, hairpins, belt caps, jewellery, and thick shoes. So wear a light-coloured T-shirt or a simple suit from home so there is no waste of time at the centre and no stress.

As per the guidelines of NTA, this time, the NEET UG 2025 exam will be only 3 hours instead of 3 hours and 20 minutes. Reporting at the exam center will be at 11 a.m., and entry to the center will be closed at 1:30 p.m. In such a situation, leave home or the hotel about 1 hour early because frisking, admit card verification, and other processes at the centre take time.

After reaching the centre, do not panic on the NEET UG 2025 exam day and take deep breaths repeatedly to stay calm. Have faith in yourself and your preparation. Fill in the roll number and other details correctly and clearly on the OMR sheet. Start the paper with Biology, it makes it easier and more scoring. If you do not know any questions, leave them and move ahead. Bubble is the only correct option; do not hurry at all. Do not look here and there and attempt your paper by staying calm.

According to the guidelines given by NTA, the main OMR sheet and the office copy of the OMR sheet must be submitted to the invigilator at the end of the exam. After the exam, the performance with the admit card and passport-size photo will also have to be given to the examiner. In case of any confusion, contact the invigilator in the examination hall. Last but not least, the thing to do on NEET exam day is not to leave your OMR sheet on your seat, but give it to the invigilator.
