Let you know that, first MCC start the counselling procedure of 15% all India quota and 100% seats of AIIMS, IPMER, AMU, BHU, ESIC, and deemed/central universities. Afterwards, the remaining 85% of the states quota NEET counselling starts.

Documents Required for NEET UG 2025 Counselling
From your ID proof to NEET admit card, there is a long list of documents that you will need during your NEET 2025 counselling. All the documents are required for various verifications of individual details. Well, the complete list of documents required for NEET UG 2025 counselling is given below.
- Passport Size Photo: Make sure the photo is the same as the one you used in the NEET 2025 application form.
- Photo ID: The photo ID that you use in the Counselling procedure should be issued by the Government instead of any private school or institute. A photo can be any one of Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License.
- 10th Class Marksheet or Certificate: Your marksheet of the 10th class or the certificate of an equivalent course.
- 12th Class Marksheet or Certificate: As with 10th Class, you will need your 12th class marksheet and or the equivalent course certificate.
- NEET 2025 Admit Card & Scorecard: Both documents are required. So make sure you have them printed; otherwise, get them printed as soon as possible.
- Caste Certificate: Get ready your caste certificate if applicable. If you belong to a non-reservation caste, you don’t need it. Notably, the EWS is required if you have.
- Disability Certificate: If you opted for any type of disability in the NEET 2025 application form, you need a disability certificate.
- Provisional Allocation Letter
- Some institutes may ask for the migration certificate at the time of reporting.
- Signature on the white page is also required.
NEET UG 2025 Counselling Required Documents for NRI Candidate
- NEET UG 2025 Admit Card and Scorecard
- Marksheet and certificate of previous class (10th and 12th)
- Copy of passport (of the candidate or their NRI parent/sponsor)
- Copy of Visa
- NRI Status Certificate: Issued by the Indian Embassy in India (in the name of the Candidate or Parents/Legal Guardian)
- Self-declaration or Sponsorship Affidavit, in which it is stated that the concerned NRI person will bear the expenses of the candidate’s studies.
- Proof of the relationship between the sponsor and the candidate.
- An electricity bill, bank statement, or other valid foreign residence documents.
- ID Proof, Migration Certificate (if applicable), Gap Certificate (if any), and Transfer Certificate.
Note: If you are applying through the NRI quota of a particular state or college, the guidelines there may be different.
Important Points for Uploading Documents – NEET 2025 Counselling
- The photo should be 50–100 KB in JPG/JPEG format.
- Upload the signature in JPG/JPEG in 20–50 KB.
- Keep all other documents within 200–300 KB in PDF format.
- A passport-size photo should have a white background and be clear.
- The signature should be written on white paper with a black or blue pen.
- Scan the document clean and complete; no part should be cut.
- Scan with CamScanner, Adobe Scan or Microsoft Lens.
- Keep the file name clear and recognisable, like 12th_Certificate_Name.pdf.
- Merge multipage documents into a single PDF.
- If asked for a self-attested copy, sign the document and scan it.
- Add English translation to documents in Hindi or other languages.
- Be sure to check the format, size and clarity of the file before uploading.
- Preview the uploaded files once before submitting.
- Keep a backup of all uploaded files (PDF/Screenshot).
- Incorrect uploading may result in the rejection of your counselling application; please be careful.
