JEE aspirants are always curious about which exam will conduct the JEE Advanced exam this year. They think it will help them make their strategy to crack JEE Advanced. However, it’s a debatable thing. Well, keeping it aside, we are here to know who will conduct JEE Advanced 2026.

As you all know, the JEE Advanced is a part of the JEE exam, which is responsible for admission to IIT colleges in India. This is the second phase of the exam, where 2.5 lahks among 10 lahks + in JEE Mains participate and fight for the 17 thousand (approx) IIT and NIT seats. However, IIT & NIT seats increase every year. 

Regarding JEE Advanced 2026, there are no official updates from NTA or any IIT college. However, we are expecting the official announcement via the NTA exam calendar 2026 in September. Hopefully, we will get the exam dates in the exam calendar. Until then, let’s determine who will conduct JEE Advanced 2026. 

Who Will Conduct JEE Advanced 2026? 

Everyone knows that JEE Main is conducted by NTA only every year, but it is not the same with JEE Advanced. It is conducted by different IIT colleges every year. However, not all IIT colleges are responsible for conducting JEE Advanced. 

Seven IIT Colleges, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, and IIT Guwahati, are responsible for conducting JEE Advanced. These colleges conduct JEE Advanced on a seven-year rotation. Like last year, IIT Madras conducted the exam; any other IIT will do it this year. 

For JEE Advanced 2026, IIT Roorkee will be the exam conducting body according to the earlier released schedule. However, the official stamp on the information for this year is pending. However, IIT Roorkee will conduct the JEE Advanced 2026 to the greatest extent. 

Does IIT Roorkee Make Hard Paper?

As soon as the aspirants found out that IIT Roorkee would conduct this exam, students started asking whether IIT Roorkee makes hard paper for JEE. It is possible that you too might have been a victim of this rumour, but there is nothing like that because there are certain norms for making the paper that every IIT must follow. So, the paper will neither be too tough, nor the exam will be closed easily; the level of the paper will be as it should be.

However, every IIT college has a different nature to make paper, which can lead to a slight change in exam pattern, but it will not affect you negatively at all. So, without thinking about the paper level, focus more on your preparation so that you can ace JEE Advanced 2026 with a better rank even with the higher competition in JEE Advanced 2026.
