In 2026, approximately 4.5 million (45 Lakh) students will appear for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations.

Why Board Released 10th & 12th CBSE Board Tentative Exam Dates?

Evaluation (Copy Checking) Process

According to the notice, the answer sheet evaluation will begin immediately after the completion of the examination.

  • The entire checking process will be completed within a maximum of 12 days.

For example:

If the Class 12 Physics exam is held on February 20, 2026, then the paper checking will be done from March 3, 2026, to March 15, 2026.

Important things students should keep in mind:

  • The released date sheet is tentative.
  • The final date sheet will be released only after schools submit the final list of all students.
  • Therefore, students should begin preparing now, but continue to check the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in) for updates on the final dates.
