5 Best Private Medical Colleges in Rajasthan

Hippocrates once said, “Wherever the art of Medicine is loved, there is also a love of Humanity.” These words continue to inspire medical aspirants, and the growing number of students choosing medicine in Rajasthan is proof of this. Yes, there are more than 2.5 lakh students competing for medical education in Rajasthan, and 40,000+ students are already pursuing MBBS across the state.

These numbers are growing every year, but the number of medical colleges and seats is not expanding at the same pace. And this makes choosing the right MBBS college very important. Rajasthan currently has 51 medical colleges offering 8000+ medical seats, but only 18 are private, offering nearly 3,700 private MBBS seats.

For students who do not secure a government seat, these limited private options become very important. And then factors like Fees, NMC approval, hospital infrastructure, clinical exposure, faculty, and location confuse medical college aspirants more.

So, which private medical colleges should you choose? To answer this question here we have shortlisted the 5 Best Private Medical Colleges in Rajasthan and compared their MBBS fees, seats, teaching hospitals, clinical environment, and admission process.

Here is the list of 5 Best Private Medical Colleges in Rajasthan

How We Selected These Top 5 Private Medical Colleges?

Well, we are looking beyond reputation and selected the best 5 colleges from 18 private medical colleges in Rajasthan. After keeping the most important things for medical students in mind, like studying, training, and gaining clinical experience during their MBBS. And combining them with facts like NMC approval, MBBS seat intake, and teaching hospital, we have prepared this list of the Top Private MBBS Colleges in Rajasthan.

Not just that, we also compare the practical factors students and parents usually examine before counselling like annual tuition, hospital infrastructure, patient exposure, academic environment, faculty, facilities, and location. This will help students to differentiate between private medical colleges offering an MBBS seat and a more complete medical education environment. After this, we came up with the final list –

  • Prince Medical College & Hospital
  • Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital
  • Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital
  • NIMS Medical College & Research
  • Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences

All medical aspirants and readers are hereby informed that our purpose is not to present a universal ranking. But we are giving NEET aspirants a useful starting point for comparing their options. So, let’s look at each option briefly.

Prince Medical College & Hospital, Sikar (PMCH Sikar)

This might surprise you, but our first choice is the Prince Medical College & Hospital, Sikar, which recently got National Medical Commission (NMC) approval. The reason behind choosing it is simple; the Prince Education Hub is already known for its world-class education all over Rajasthan. To maintain the same reputation in the medical education field, they will try everything and will definitely offer the best medical learning to their new students.

Coming to details, the Prince Medical College & Hospital (PMCH), Sikar offers 150 MBBS seats with affiliation of Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur. Another special thing about PMCH is its infrastructure, which is well-structured for academic as well as practical medical fields.

The PMCH has a 700-bed teaching hospital, more than 100 ICU beds, and 21 clinical & non-clinical specialties that give students access to a broad hospital environment from the beginning of their medical education. Another important thing to note is its Location at Jaipur-Bikaner Highway in Sikar which PMCH combines medical college facilities with a multispecialty and super-specialty hospital setup.

For the 2026-27 session, the reported tuition fee is around Rs. 18.90 lakh per year for the general/state category. The management category is around Rs. 28 lakh per year. Other charges can include a Rs. 2.50 lakh caution deposit, Rs.10,000 admission fee, and approximately Rs. 35,000 in miscellaneous charges per year. Hostel, mess, and other applicable expenses must be added separately when calculating the overall cost of the MBBS course.

Hospital & Clinical Exposure in PMCH Sikar

The Prince Medical College & Hospital (PMCH) has a 700 bed tertiary-care teaching hospital with 21 departments, providing students with exposure to OPD, inpatient care, emergency services, and critical care. The hospital has 30+ ICU beds, 9 modular operation theatres, a 30+ bed emergency and trauma centre, a Cath Lab, and laboratory services. This offers medical students better opportunities to observe different areas of patient care.

The college also highlights early clinical exposure, with students learning through guided hospital experience alongside classroom and laboratory teaching. Its facilities include a clinical skills and simulation lab, modern diagnostic services, inpatient wards, and specialty clinics across areas such as medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and radiodiagnosis.

PMCH Sikar NEET Cutoff & Admission

As we already cleared above that PMCH Sikar is admitting its first MBBS batch in 2026-2027, there is no previous closing-rank data. But the college has 150 NMC-approved MBBS seats, with admission through NEET UG and Rajasthan counselling. A candidate’s NEET score out of 720, rank, category, seat type, and counselling round will directly affect admission chances. For the actual closing rank, wait for the NEET counselling last result date.

Why Students Choose PMCH?

Prince Medical College & Hospital (PMCH), Sikar, is a strong option for students looking for lower MBBS fees along with good hospital and clinical exposure. With only 150 MBBS seats, students may have better opportunities for individual academic attention and closer interaction with faculty and clinical teams. The Sikar location also appeals to students who prefer studying away from Jaipur or Udaipur.

Don’t forget this is its first MBBS batch in 2026, so both the medical college and teaching hospital will try to establish their academic standards and build a strong reputation from the beginning. For students, this combination of financial advantage, a focused 150-seat intake, and a developing medical education environment can make PMCH a worthwhile option to evaluate during Rajasthan NEET counselling.

Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur

Our second private medical college is well established, and almost every NEET aspirant looking for private options must have heard about it. The reason behind this strong clinical atmosphere is its link with the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, which has 1,450+ beds and provides tertiary-care services across a wide range of specialties. The university also has 235 MD/MS seats and 64 DM/MCh seats, allowing MBBS students to pursue postgraduate and super-specialty medical training within the same academic ecosystem.

Which Private Medical College in Rajasthan Should You Choose?

Are you still confused and want to know which college will fit you? First of all, let this be clear in your mind that a private medical college is not only about the NEET cutoff or fee. But your preferred location, batch size, hospital exposure, and overall learning environment can make a big difference during your MBBS journey. So, here is a quick comparison based on what different students need –

If Your Priority IsCollege to Consider
Smaller MBBS batch + individual attentionPrince Medical College & Hospital (PMCH), Sikar
Established private college in JaipurMahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital (MGMCH), Jaipur
Established medical education in UdaipurGeetanjali Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Udaipur
Large medical education ecosystemNational Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (NIMS), Jaipur
Strong hospital-based clinical exposurePacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Udaipur

After checking this, you must not look for which private medical college is best for MBBS in Rajasthan, but instead you will find which fits you most. And your final choice should come down to your NEET rank, budget, preferred city, and the kind of medical education environment you want. Before locking your choices, compare the latest fees, cutoff trends, hospital facilities, and seat availability through the respective official sources and Rajasthan NEET counselling updates.

Private MBBS College Fees in Rajasthan

Private MBBS colleges in Rajasthan generally charge around Rs. 17 lakh to Rs. 28 lakh per year in tuition that too depending on the college and seat category. Students searching for affordable private medical colleges in Rajasthan are advised to compare hostel, mess, security deposit, admission, examination, library, and miscellaneous charges rather than looking at tuition alone.

This means the complete MBBS cost can roughly range from Rs. 80 lakh to Rs. 1.3 crore or more. For example, students comparing Prince Medical College MBBS fees with other Rajasthan private MBBS college fees may consider the full course expenditure, as fees can change by session and quota. Always verify the latest fee notification from the official college website before admission.

NEET Cut off for Private Medical Colleges in Rajasthan

Top MBBS colleges in Rajasthan also have a NEET qualifying cutoff; you can not directly get admission. Well, the NEET qualifying cutoff is the minimum percentile required to become eligible for MBBS counselling, but the college closing cutoff is the rank at which the last available seat is allotted in a particular counselling round. So, simply qualifying NEET does not guarantee a seat in a private medical college.

For the best private medical colleges in Rajasthan, the final cutoff can change according to the category, NEET rank, state or management seat, counselling round, and seat availability. Closing ranks may move lower in later rounds when vacant seats are available. That means you can use previous allotment results only as a reference and check the official Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling results for the actual cutoff applicable to their admission.

What to Check Before Taking MBBS Admission

Coming to the end of this article, here we are listing a practical checklist before taking private medical college admission. 5 Things to Check Before Choosing the Best JEE NEET Coaching in Sikar

Now, in 2026, Sikar has emerged as the best place for JEE and NEET preparation in India. The results from the last few years at Sikar Coaching have proven that Sikar is on the verge of becoming the best JEE/NEET preparation destination. But here’s the problem: students coming here are finding many coaching providers for JEE and NEET in Sikar.

As one of the best JEE & NEET coaching centers in Sikar, we often hear this question from parents: Why choose this coaching only, and what factors make a JEE or NEET coaching centre the best?

So, to address such queries, we are here with the top 5 things any parent of a student must check before choosing the best JEE and NEET coaching in Sikar.

ये आर्टिकल हिंदी में पढ़े – यंहा क्लिक करे

1. Coaching Should Be Experienced, Reputable, and Reliable

It often happens that parents and students, swayed by advertisements or misleading promotional campaigns, enrol in a new coaching institute. However, just a few months later, they discover that the institute neither conducts classes on time nor provides essential resources such as test series or study materials—a common issue, as new coaching centers often lack the capacity to manage these operations effectively.

Without these fundamental elements, even contemplating selection becomes impossible. Yet, by the time they realise this reality, the student has already wasted a precious year, pushing them a full year further away from their goal of selection.

Occasionally, parents approach us seeking to enroll their child mid-academic year; however, by that time, it is often too late, and the chances of selection have diminished significantly.

Therefore, whether you are a parent seeking coaching for your child or a student in Sikar looking for JEE or NEET coaching, you should choose an institute that has been operational for many years—an institute with excellent management, a strong reputation, and an impeccable track record of reliability.

PCP Sikar is one such renowned institute that has been providing JEE and NEET coaching in Sikar for over 15 years. By consistently delivering excellent results year after year, it continues to earn the trust of parents. It is thanks to this unwavering trust from the community that PCP Sikar has today been able to establish three campuses in Sikar and one in Jaipur—a testament to the deep confidence the people of Sikar place in PCP.

2. Selection Ratio Matters the Most

The second and most important factor is the coaching institute’s selection ratio. Many parents choose a coaching centre based solely on the pupils who do the best in school. But using only a few high ranks to decide if that coaching centre is right for your child is not a good method to do it.

The selection ratio is the best way to find out how good a coaching institute really is. The selection ratio shows how many students were actually chosen out of the total number of students who applied.

For example, if a coaching institute gets 500 picks but has more than 15,000 students enrolled, its selection ratio would be very low. On the other hand, if another coaching institute gets 350 candidates to choose from out of 1,050, its selection ratio is 1:3. This indicates that, on average, one out of every three students at that school is chosen.

Now, think about which coaching institute will provide your child a better chance of being chosen.

So, when you choose a coaching institute, don’t just look at the top ranks or the fancy ads. Always check the institute’s selection ratio, as this is the only thing that really shows how likely its students are to pass tests like JEE or NEET.

Regarding the selection ratio at PCP Sikar, we have the highest in India! PCP Sikar has a selection ratio of 1:4/5 in NEET and 1:3 in JEE. It means every third student is cracking JEE in PCP Sikar, and every 5th student is cracking NEET here.

3. Expert & Sustained Faculty

Last but not least, it’s about the sustained faculty. This is the most common problem coaching face, and students suffer. You must have heard many times that teachers at coaching institutes often leave midway through a session or that the faculty changes with every new academic year. This situation causes the greatest detriment to students transitioning from 11th to 12th grade or those preparing with a specific focus on their 12th-grade curriculum.

When a teacher changes, the continuity of learning is disrupted. A new teacher employs a different pedagogical approach; often, the flow of topics changes as well, requiring students to readjust once again. This not only slows the pace of preparation but also undermines the confidence of many students.

That is why PCP Sikar tries its best to keep the faculty sustained so that students never feel a slow pace in their preparation. And you might have heard that PCP Sikar is one of the JEE & NEET coaching centres in Sikar with a sustained faculty.

4. Discipline Is a Key Factor in Your JEE–NEET Preparation Journey

Discipline is a crucial factor in the preparation for JEE and NEET; surprisingly, however, many coaching institutes today do not give this aspect the importance it deserves. The focus often remains solely on teaching classes and completing the syllabus, overlooking the fact that discipline and consistency play the most significant role in getting selected for competitive exams like JEE and NEET.

Exams like JEE and NEET demand a rigorous preparation period spanning two years. If a student’s daily routine lacks discipline, including regular classes, self-study, revision, and tests, their preparation will gradually falter. This is precisely why, on many occasions, even bright students fall behind simply due to a lack of discipline.

A highly disciplined environment teaches JEE NEET aspirants to maintain a regular study routine, avoid distractions, and persevere in their hard work. It is this very discipline that, in the long run, serves as the strongest foundation for achieving selection.

Recognising this fundamental truth, PCP Sikar places special emphasis on discipline. Through a structured academic schedule, regular monitoring, punctual classes, and a systematic testing mechanism, an environment is fostered here that enables students to steer their preparation in the right direction with absolute consistency.

It is this disciplined academic culture that prepares students, both mentally and academically, to face tough competitive examinations such as JEE and NEET.

5. Individual Monitoring Plays a Vital Role in Selection

There is a crucial point here, one that is often overlooked by many JEE and NEET coaching institutes in Sikar and other cities. This oversight typically stems from the excessively high student-to-teacher ratio prevalent in these coaching centers. However, this factor plays a pivotal role in determining whether or not a student ultimately secures selection.

It is essential to understand that if a student does not receive individualised attention, their performance will gradually deteriorate, eventually knocking them out of the race for selection in JEE or NEET. This occurs because students living away from home are navigating a critical phase of their lives; without someone to keep a watchful eye on them, they often tend to become more lax.

In contrast, there are certain coaching institutes, such as the one highlighted here, where the test performance of every single student is continuously and meticulously monitored. Their test scores are analysed with great precision, and through constant vigilance and collaborative effort, each student achieves higher scores on every subsequent test.

This very approach is adopted at PCP, where a dedicated counsellor is assigned to every group of 30 students. The dedicated mentor or counsellor acts like a guardian away from home and monitors each student’s performance in each test and how they are doing in class. After each test, the mentor talks to the students individually and analyses their performance. Students facing any problem share with the mentor and the mentor completely resolves that problem to any extent.  It is precisely for this reason that PCP Sikar ensures that every single student receives comprehensive, effective, personalised care.

NEET UG 2026 Registration Date Extended

On 9th March 2026, NTA released a notification regarding the extension of the NEET UG 2026 registration deadline. Earlier, the NEET UG registration was closed on 8th March 2026, but now NTA has extended the last date to register for NEET UG 2026 to 11th March 2026.

Students who haven’t registered due to server issues or final exams can now fill out the NEET UG 2026 application forms until 11th March 2026.

In the released notification, NTA advised candidates to complete the form by the extended date and time. No further extension will be granted.

Why NTA Extended the Deadline for NEET UG 2026 Registrations

Although the National Testing Agency has not explicitly stated any official reason for extending the deadline, some practical reasons have emerged that are believed to have led to this decision.

1. Pressure of Board and Final Exams

Board exams are currently underway in many parts of the country. Between exam preparation and exam preparation, many students were unable to find time to apply.

2. Server congestion at the last minute

As the deadline approached, many students attempted to apply simultaneously. This led to heavy traffic on the portal, and many students encountered issues, including a busy server or a slow website.

Given these circumstances, extending the application deadline is considered a necessary and practical step for students.

No Further Extension Will be Provided

The National Testing Agency has not yet officially stated that no further extensions will be granted.

However, typically, once a date is extended for such exams, further extensions are rarely granted. Therefore, students should assume that March 11, 2026, may be their last chance.
