• One disadvantage is the extra stress. Giving any exam is stressful, and preparing for CUET alongside the board exams can add to a student’s burdens. It also pressures students to perform well in CUET.
  
• As CUET focuses on academic excellence, it can overlook students who are talented in extracurricular activities. Due to this limitation, the exam might not give a holistic view of a student’s capabilities.
  
• Unlike other competitive exams, students need to prepare for the language test, and in some cases, the general test as well. Even for domain subjects, if you choose two different subjects, you will need to travel and give separate exams for both. This makes both the preparation and the exam itself time-consuming.
  
• As CUET is important for college admissions, students might get distracted from their boards. The problem is, even if you can score well in your boards, your dream college might reject you based on low CUET scores.
