The registration procedure for the JEE Main 2025 session 2 is ongoing. It was started earlier this month and is scheduled to finish on 25th February 2025. Amid the registrations, NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 session-2 correction dates. 

On 24th February 2025, NTA released a press note regarding the corrections dates in JEE Main 2025 session-2. This press note includes the complete correction schedule with some important instructions that we are going to discuss in this artilce. 

This JEE Main correction window allows all the applicants to make corrections in the personal details, exam centre choice, and some other things in the submitted application form.

So, if you are someone who has applied for the second session of JEE Main 2025 and want to do corrections in your form, this is the way. The scheduled is given below so check the JEE Main 2025 session-2 correction dates and be ready with the changes. 

JEE Main 2025 Sesssion-2 Correction Dates

According to the released press note by NTA, the JEE Main 2025 Session-2 correction window will open on 27th February 2025. Secondaly, as always, the correction window opens for two days, the last date for the corrections in JEE Main 2025 Session-2 is 28th February 11.50 PM. 

Make sure that this is the one & only chance to correct your JEE Main application form. So, if you think you are not able to do the changes, go to the experts take help so that there is no chance of mistakes again. 

No Date Extendation for Correction Window

In the press note, NTA has clearly mentioned that there will be no extention in the in the date of correction window. So, please don’t delay and apply for the corrections as soon as the window opens. 

The correction window link will be activated on 27th February on the officila website of NTA. So, you will have to go the official website of JEE Main NTA and look for the link in the Latest News section.

Allowed & Not Allowed Changes in JEE Main 2025 Correction Window

NTA has released the list of changes that are allowed and not allowed to make in the application form. Check it out from the below given table. 

Existing candidates i.e. candidates who are already registered during the registration period of JEE (Main) – 2025 Session 1 (28 October to22 November 2025) and who have also applied for Session 2(2 February to 25 February 2025)Candidates are allowed to edit or modify the following: 
i. Course (Paper)
ii. Medium of Question Paper
iii. State Code of Eligibility
iv. Examination Cities as per the available options.
v. Educational qualification details (Class 10 and Class 12).
vi. Gender vii. Category
viii. Fee Payment (if applicable)
Note: Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if any.
For new candidates, who applied for Session 2 only during the period from02 February to 25 February 2025Candidates shall NOT be allowed to change:
I. Mobile Number
ii. E-Mail Address
iii. Address (Permanent and Present)
iv. Emergency Contact details
V. Photograph of candidate
Candidate shall be allowed to change any one of the fields:
Candidate Name or Father Name or Mother Name
Candidates shall be allowed to change/add all the following fields:
Educational qualification details (Class 10 and Class 12). State Code of Eligibility
1. Date of Birth
2. Gender
3. Category
4. Sub-category/PwD
5. Signature
6. Paper
Candidates shall be allowed to change the following based on their permanent and Present addresses:
i.Examination City Selection
ii. Medium of the examination

Note:

  • If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable.
  • Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if any.
  • The only one-time correction will be allowed to the candidate i.e. once the corrections are done and submitted, the form shall be frozen.
