Registration for the JEE Main 2026 January Attempt has reached its final stage. This is the last chance for students who haven’t yet completed their forms. The NTA has already clarified that no student will be allowed to apply after the deadline. Therefore, all interested candidates should complete their forms immediately.
No Extension in Registration Dates — NTA Clarifies
The NTA has clearly stated that no extensions will be granted to the registration deadline.
Every year, a large number of students access the website at the last minute, and due to slow servers, the forms remain incomplete. This time, the NTA has already warned that:
- No new forms will be accepted after the deadline.
- Nor will the registration window reopen.
- Therefore, students are urged to apply in time.
Why Not to Wait for the Last Date?
Waiting until the last day is always risky. Millions of students fill out forms simultaneously on that day, which can cause the website to slow down or crash.
There’s also a high chance of payment failure—the money may be deducted, but the form won’t be submitted. Filling forms in a hurry is common, and there’s limited opportunity for corrections later. Most importantly, the NTA has clearly stated that there will be no extensions to the registration date.
This means that if you miss the last date, you may have to wait an entire year.
