Will NTA Not Conduct JEE 2025

As you all know, the NTA is surrounded by controversies because of the NEET UG 2024 exam and results. This controversy is directly affecting the NTA’s credibility as an exam-conducting body. Now, because NTA conducts the JEE Mains exam, many of the JEE aspirants have started to question, Will NTA Not Conduct JEE 2025 and further exams?

If you are a JEE aspirant, you can relate to this question. And, apparently, you, too, want to know if it is true or just a rumour. Well, don’t worry, as we have a detailed analysis of the topic for you. If you are also concerned about the issue and want to know if Will NTA Not Conduct JEE Mains 2025, make sure you read till the last word.

Why Are the Rumpurs Buzzing Around?

It is very clear that something is wrong there with NTA because, without any matter, the rumour that NTA will not conduct JEE 2025 has been raised. Let me tell you the actual situation.

The Actual Matter: NTA is facing a lot of allegations due to the irregularities in NEET UG 2024. Students are accusing NTA of leaking the paper before the exam and allowing unfair bonus marks. However, the matter is the Supreme Court. We don’t know who is responsible for all these things, but it isn’t fair to make the NTA the only responsible party. There might be some persons in the NTA who did all this, and the court will handle them.

Its Effect on JEE: Amid all these things, many people have started challenging NTA’s credibility as an exam-conducting body. They are saying that NTA should be removed from conducting exams. Because NTA is the same agency that conducts JEE Mains. So, people feel that if the rule is removed from NEET, then it will be removed from JEE as well. Let’s see whether these expectations are true or just rumours.

Will NTA Not Conduct JEE Mains 2025 And Further Exams

It’s clear that NTA will not be removed from conducting JEE Mains 2025 and for a further couple of years JEE attempts. You may be wondering how anyone can claim this with so much certainty. Let me explain to you.

NEET UG and JEE Mains are two completely different cases. The exam conducting procedures and modes are different. Except for the NTA as the conducting body, there is nothing similar in the NEET and JEE Main.

Secondly, it’s not so obvious that NEET UG is compromised; the JEE will also be. NEET is an offline exam with many drawbacks. The exam papers go to the printing to a third party, where there are many chances of leak of the paper. But it can’t happen in JEE Mains because it’s an online exam, and there is no need to print the paper. Moreover, if the paper starts late somewhere, the aspirant gets the extra time accordingly.

So, it’s not right to compare both exams. To the most extent, if NTA gets taken over as the exam conducting body for NEET UG, then we think it can happen for JEE as well. But, as of now, NTA has no chance of not conducting JEE 2025.

Can It Happen in Future (2026 or 2027)?

Although we never know what will happen in future, at least as of now, there are no hints that NTA will not conduct JEE 2026 or 2027. And until or unless NTA makes a blunder in exam procedure and compromises the exam’s entirety, there is no chance that government remove it from conducting JEE Mains even in 2025, 2026, and 2027.

Summary

The fact is India doesn’t have any alternative to NTA for exams like JEE Main, CUET, and NEET, especially for JEE Mains. NTA is the only choice for such exams. Even if the government thinks of removing NTA, a new exam-conducting agency should be formed.

The new agency should be equivalent to the UPSC, which has no record of breach of exam integrity. Well, if you are a JEE Main 2025 aspirant, focus on your exam preparation instead of wasting your time on these things because, whether the NTA conducts the exam or not, one thing is certain, and that is that competition will increase in 2025.
