Finally, after a long wait, the NEET UG 2025 counselling schedule is announced. The MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) has released the counselling schedule NEET UG 2025 for All India Quota (15%)/ Deemed/Central Universities/ All AIIMS Institutes/ JIPMER (Puducherry & Karaikal).
According to the released counselling schedule, NEET UG 2025 counselling will start on 21st July 2025. As usual, multiple counselling rounds will take place between these dates. You can check these slots and dates here in the article.
Dates for Counselling Schedule NEET UG 2025
There will be a total of three rounds for the NEET UG 2025 counselling, along with the stray vacancy round. All three rounds and the stray round will take place on various dates between July 21st and September 24, 2025. Let’s check out all the dates for the counselling schedule NEET UG 2025.
First-Round Counselling Dates for NEET UG 2025
- Registration/Payment: 21st July – 28th July 2025
- Choice Filling/Locking: 22nd July – 28th July 2025
- Seat Allotment Result: 31st July, 2025
- Reporting/Joining: 1st Aug, 2025 to 6th Aug, 2025
- Verification of joined candidates: 7th Aug to 8th Aug 2025

Second-Round Counselling Dates for NEET UG 2025
- Registration/Payment: 12th Aug., 2025 to 18th Aug., 2025
- Choice Filling/Locking: 13th Aug., 2025 to 18th Aug., 2025
- Seat Allotment Result: 21st Aug., 2025
- Reporting/Joining: 22nd Aug., 2025 to 29th Aug., 2025
- Verification of joined candidates: 30th Aug., 2025 to 1st Sept., 2025
Third-Round Counselling Dates for NEET UG 2025
- Registration/Payment: 3rd Sept., 2025 to 8th Sept., 2025
- Choice Filling/Locking: 3rd Sept., 2025 to 8th Sept., 2025
- Seat Allotment Result: 11th Sept., 2025
- Reporting/Joining: 12th Sept, 2025 to 18th Sept., 2025
- Verification of joined candidates: 19th Sept., 2025 to 21st Sept., 2025
Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Dates for NEET UG 2025
- Registration/Payment: 22nd Sept., 2025 to 24th Sept, 2025
- Choice Filling/Locking: 22nd Sept., 2025 to 25th Sept., 2025
- Seat Allotment Result: 27th Sept., 2025
- Reporting/Joining: 27th Sept., 2025 to 3rd Oct., 2025
Well, these dates are for the All India Quota, where 15% of the total MBBS Seats will be filled. The rest of the seats will be filled via the statewide counselling, and the dates for statewide counselling will be released separately. As of now, there is no update regarding the dates.
