If you are one who appeared in the exam and want to know more about the postponement of NEET UG 2025 result, here are all the details mentioned.

What’s the Matter?

Great negligence was seen at some examination centres during the NEET UG 2025 exam. At many centres, the power went out in the middle of the exam, and the students had to sit in the dark. As a temporary measure, candles and other inconvenient arrangements were made to work, but the valuable time of the examination was wasted in this chaos.

Students say that due to the darkness, they had difficulty reading and solving the paper properly, and due to a severe lack of time, they could not complete the entire paper. On this basis, some students filed a petition in the High Court and demanded ‘Re-NEET’, i.e., re-conducting the exam.

NEET UG 2025 Result Postponed by MP High Court

In view of the seriousness of the matter, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has temporarily stayed the result of NEET UG 2025 and said that it will not be released until the next hearing, which has been scheduled for four weeks from today.

Now, the NTA (National Testing Agency) will not be able to release the results until this time. This has increased the curiosity and tension of lakhs of students who have been waiting for the exam results for a long time.

Conclusion

NEET UG is the biggest medical entrance exam in the country, and irregularities in it not only threaten the students’ futures but also raise questions about the exam’s fairness. Now, all eyes are on the next hearing of the High Court and the stance of NTA.

Nevertheless, the lawyer on behalf of the petitioner told the court that the future of hundreds of aspirants was at stake due to power cuts. Welcoming the court’s decision, he said that this step is in their interest. However, no formal statement has been issued by NTA yet. Some student organisations have demanded that the list of affected centres be released and transparency be maintained.
