On 16th January 2025, NTA released a press note informing us that there was no change in the exam mode of NEET UG, along with another more significant update. No Online Exam For NEET UG 2025
In the released press note, NTA clearly mentioned that the NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in the Pen & Paper mode. There will be no change in the exam mode of NEET UG; it will be as it was in the past years.
Single Day & Single Shift
Another update from the NTA in the press note is that the exam will be conducted in a single day and single shift, as always.
Stating the NMC order, NTA mentioned that As decided by the National Medical Commission (NMC), it is informed that NEET UG 2025 shall be conducted in pen and paper (OMR Based) in a single day and single shift.
A Last Few Words
With this news from NTA, it is clear that there will be no changes in the NEET UG 2025. Till now, we have all heard many rumours that the Government had decided to accept the suggested changes by the K. Radhakrishnan Committee.
However, many other changes in NEET UG 2025 are still expected to be cleared, including the limited attempt and age limit. Well, it will be interesting to see if these changes are made or not. Till then, make sure you wait for the official notification from NTA.
