Why is this question raised?
With talks about the leaks and controversies surrounding the 2024 NEET exam results, it’s not hard to see why the question is being raised.
One possible reason is because of the leaks that have happened despite the rules surrounding the NEET exam being so strict. And apart from the leaked question papers, students who appeared in NEET 2024 also had many complaints regarding the exam and results.
These complaints include:
- Some students got more marks than they should have for unknown reasons
- Students getting question papers and OMR sheets late
- Many students got grace marks for time wasted by the exam centre
There may also be other complaints which didn’t get vocalised, but these are just the complaints.
With the paper leaks and grace marks, future aspirants are now worried about the future of NEET and wonder if the exam will be fair at all. Because of these leaks, many of these concerns include the selling of NEET question papers and rank inflation.
Should the NTA Not conduct NEET 2025?
With all of the issues mentioned above, it is possible that the NTA will not conduct NEET 2025. But should it happen?
There is no correct answer to this question, but it is a given that these issues must be addressed and addressed, whether by the NTA or a different committee.
Because of problems like inflated ranks and grace marks, many deserving aspirants might not even make the cut-off. Many who get these grace marks even feel guilty about it when they cross-check their answers with the answer sheet.
Not to mention the fact that because of these controversies, not only the NTA but also the government might make some decisions regarding the future of NEET.
Will NTA Not Conduct NEET 2025?
Without any official statement or evidence pointing to it, we cannot say whether the NTA will conduct NEET in 2025 or not. So far, it is possible that NEET might be conducted either by a different committee or by the NMC directly.
If no official statement is given, it is also possible that the NTA will continue to conduct competitive exams in the future. However, with all the problems and rumours that have come to light, it is highly likely that there will be some sort of change either in the internal workings of the NEET committee or the exam itself.
Will NEET 2025 Have Changes?

What Will Happen With NEET 2025?
Another tough question. We do not know for certain what’s in store for NEET 2025. But what we do know is that there is potential for change in NEET going forward.
A few days ago, the Government formed a committee and released a form on X.com (Twitter) for parents, students, and NEET aspirants to share their opinions on the changes they would like in competitive exams.
The goals for this new committee were as follows:
