NEET UG 2026 Documents Alert From NTA
NEET UG 2026 Documents Alert From NTA

Before the NEET UG 2026 registration starts, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important notification for students. It is a NEET UG 2026 Documents Readiness alert for the students who are preparing for the upcoming NEET UG attempt.

Ignoring this update regarding NEET UG 2026 documents could have serious consequences. This notification is not related to the exam date, syllabus, or application form dates, but rather to the papers on which the NEET UG 2026 application and the entire subsequent process will depend.

Every year, a large number of students, despite scoring well, face problems during counselling, category benefit claims, or verification due to document mismatches. To prevent such issues, the NTA has issued this advance alert.

We at PCP Sikar have reviewed this notice, and here are the takeaways for you. You, being an aspiring NEET aspirant, must have a look at these points and then check if your documents are updated accordingly or not.

    1. Adhaar Card Update for NEET UG 2026 Registration

Regarding Aadhaar Cards, NTA has clarified that the entire Aadhaar Card must be updated at the time of form submission. Make sure it is not only about the name and the father’s name, but also about every detail on the Aadhaar Card.

    • Candidate’s full name (including spelling)
    • Date of Birth
    • Gender
    • Photograph on the Aadhaar card
    • Current address
    • Biometric information (where applicable)

This information is directly matched with the Aadhaar database during the NEET application process. Even a slight discrepancy in a name or date of birth can lead to verification issues later.

What if your Adhaar Card is not updated or has Mistakes?

If your Adhaar Card is not updated according to the requirements, you have to get it updated according to UIDAI rules. Moreover, keep the below points in mind.

    • Aadhaar updates are not implemented everywhere immediately.
    • Sometimes, the update process takes time.
    • Getting the update done at the last minute may cause problems during the NEET application process.

Therefore, the NTA emphasises that students should complete this process before the NEET 2026 application forms are released.

10th Class STSE 2026 Rajasthan Topper: Tavisha Singh

    2. Update Regarding PWD Candidates in NEET

Separate instructions have been issued regarding the UDID Card for candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category for NEET UG 2026. These candidates must ensure that:

    • Their UDID Card is valid.
    • It is up-to-date.
    • If it has expired, it has been renewed on time.

The facilities and reservations provided to PwD candidates during NEET are entirely dependent on the validity of the UDID Card. Any discrepancy in this regard may lead to problems later on.

    3. NEET UG 2026 Update Regarding Category Certificate

    Last but not least in NEET UG 2026 Documents Alert, NTA also gave an alert regarding the category certificate. NTA has asked all the aspirants to check if their EWS, SC, ST, और OBC-NCL certificates are;

    • It must be valid.
    • It must be updated.
    • It must comply with current regulations.

NutShelles For the Aspirants in This NEET UG 2026 Documents Readiness Alert From NTA

    • Carefully check their Aadhaar card.
    • Verify the validity of their category or UDID-related documents.
    • Initiate the correction process immediately if there are any errors.
    • Regularly check the official NTA and NEET websites for updates.

    Updated NEET Syllabus 2026
    Updated NEET Syllabus 2026

The day for the NEET UG 2026 aspirants has arrived, when the new syllabus gets released for the upcoming exam. Yes, you heard it right: the NMC (National Medical Council) has released the updated NEET syllabus 2026.

On 22nd December 2025, the NMC website featured this update from the Director of UGMEB (Undergraduate Medical Exam Body). This notice was to inform all the applicants and medical colleges under the NMC that the updated NEET syllabus 2026 has been released. And all NEET 2026 aspirants must prepare according to the new NEET 2026 syllabus.

Has the NEET 2026 Syllabus Changed?

For quite some time, students have been wondering whether any major changes have been made to the NEET UG 2026 syllabus. When the officially released NEET UG 2026 syllabus is compared to last year’s syllabus (NEET UG 2025), it becomes clear that no major or fundamental changes have been made. The Physics and Chemistry syllabi remain exactly the same, while the structure and chapters in Biology are also unchanged. Only a few disorders have been added to the Human Physiology section, which students are already familiar with from their NCERT textbooks.

Another important point is that the entire NEET UG 2026 syllabus is completely based on the new NCERT textbooks. It would not be wrong to say that the syllabus has been adopted almost verbatim from the new NCERT. Therefore, students whose preparation is strong based on the NCERT books do not need to worry about any new patterns or additional topics. The correct strategy is to continue preparing by studying the NCERT textbooks line by line.

Updated NEET Syllabus 2026: Physics, Chemistry, Biology

    calculator allowed in NEET 2026
    calculator allowed in NEET 2026

As we all know, recently, NTA allowed the on-screen calculator in the JEE Mains 2026 examination, which was not expected. But, as soon as this news spread across the nation, NEET students began assuming the same announcement would be made for them as well. But, are there any chances of it? To learn more about this, we have prepared an article for you that covers everything related to the calculator in NEET 2026.

Let it be very clear that both JEE and NEET are the country’s largest entrance exams conducted by the NTA, but there are significant differences in their format and colleges. While JEE prioritises calculations (calculations), NEET is primarily based on theoretical understanding. However, confusion has arisen among students if NTA allow calculator in NEET.

What’s The Current Scenario of Calculator in NEET?

The NEET exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is still conducted offline, meaning it is pen-and-paper-based. For this reason, providing an on-screen calculator is technically impossible.

Furthermore, carrying any physical calculator, smartwatch, electronic pen, or digital device into the exam centre is strictly prohibited under NTA’s official guidelines to prevent any unfair means.

Reasons Why Calculator is Not Allowed in NEET?

Many students wonder why calculators are allowed in JEE Main, so why not in NEET?

The answer is simple: the pattern, mode, and nature of the NEET exam make it extremely unlikely that a calculator will be needed or used. Let’s understand in a little more detail why the NTA doesn’t allow calculators in NEET.

NEET is conducted offline, meaning students write their answers on the question paper and OMR sheets. In such a situation, the question of an “on-screen calculator” does not arise because there are no computer screens in the exam.

This is possible in JEE Main because it is a computer-based test (CBT), in which an on-screen calculator is technically available. Therefore, until NEET moves to online mode, providing a calculator is technically impossible.

Read More – Why NEET is Offline, not online.

Now that it’s not possible to use an on-screen exam, some students are thinking that offline physical calculators should also be allowed. Any type of physical calculator is an electronic device. While simple, modern calculators contain technologies such as data storage, programmable memory, or Bluetooth chips. This poses the risk that a student could store formulas, data, or notes in advance or send information wirelessly.

NTA aims to ensure equal opportunities for all students. Therefore, any kind of physical calculator is not allowed in NEET.

Another primary reason why NTA doesn’t allow calculators in NEET is that the NEET question paper has a significantly different format from the JEE. NEET is primarily a biology-centric exam, with 90 questions from the biology subject. Apart from this, 45 questions of Physics and 45 questions of Chemistry are asked. In both subjects, only a few questions require calculation, and those are not particularly tricky or lengthy.

Therefore, NTA believes that there is no requirement for a calculator in NEET.

Many students compare the JEE and NEET, but the nature of these two exams is entirely different.

    • It is an engineering entrance exam.
    • It emphasises mathematics and numerical physics.
    • Many questions require complex calculations.

Therefore, using a calculator is sometimes useful and time-saving.

    • It is a medical entrance exam.
    • It aims to test students’ concepts, memory, accuracy, and theoretical clarity.
    • The questions here are much less numerically intense.

Therefore, there is a requirement for a calculator in the JEE, but not in the NEET.

In an exam like NEET, approximately 2.5 million students appear at various centres across the country. If calculators are allowed, the task of checking, model verification, and preventing misuse at each centre will become extremely difficult.

This logistical complexity poses a challenge for NTA from both security and time perspectives. Therefore, allowing calculators is not possible.

Will Calculator be Allowed in NEET 2026 or in Future?

No, a calculator will not be allowed in NEET 2026 or in the near future, as the NEET exam is conducted offline. Therefore, allowing an on-screen calculator is not even possible. As for physical calculators, any kind of electronic device can’t be allowed due to security risks; this is also not possible.

Moreover, most NEET questions are from biology and chemistry, where calculations are minimal. Even the few calculations that do occur in physics are not complex enough to require a calculator.

However, if NTA make significant changes in the NEET exam pattern, like increasing the weightage of Physics and numerical questions and conducting the exam online, there might be chances of allowing a calculator in NEET in future.

A Last Few Words for the Students

If you’re preparing for NEET, it’s important to understand that the exam tests your analytical clarity and conceptual accuracy, not your speed of calculation. It’s best to focus on approximation techniques and smart calculation methods in Physics so you can get accurate answers without a calculator and beat the increasing competition in NEET.

The situation may be different if there are any major changes to the exam pattern in the future; however, in the current scenario, the best way to prepare for NEET is to strengthen your fundamentals and work on time management—this is your biggest strength.

Limited Attempts in NEET Explained (2026)
Limited Attempts in NEET Explained (2026)

Limited attempts in the NEET UG issue have been in speculation since the NEET 2024 attempt. In fact, after the NEET UG 2024 controversy, the Education Minister of India stated that we are considering limiting the number of attempts in NEET. These changes were supposed to take place during last year’s exam, but they didn’t.

Now that the NEET 2026 attempt is approaching, aspiring candidates are asking whether this rule will apply and whether there will be limited attempts in NEET 2026.

The answer to this question is in the womb of the future. But the aspirants are worried, as it would be one of the significant changes in NEET if it happened. Undoubtedly, the limited attempts in NEET UG will hugely impact the entire NEET equation.

Preface of the NEET UG Limited Attempt Issue

Before diving into the article to determine whether NEET will have limited attempts, it is essential to understand the origins of the limited NEET attempts theory. So, let’s figure it out.

You know the NEET UG 2024 case, which was heard in the Supreme Court. The jury formed a committee to suggest mandatory changes in NEET to maintain the exam’s integrity in the future. This committee was named K Radhakrishna, whose members were Dr K Radhakrishnan, former Indian ISRO chief, Dr Randeep Guleria, former director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and B.J. Rao, vice-chancellor, University of Hyderabad.

This committee suggested some changes in NEET UG, including limited attempts in NEET UG. The committee believes that limiting attempts will decrease the number of applicants, helping maintain the decorum of the NEET UG exam. Moreover, the committee said that the NEET UG should be conducted twice a year and that the examination should be online.

Nonetheless, all other changes, except for the limited attempts, will not impact the aspirants. However, the impacts will be positive and negative. Let’s look at both sides of the limited attempts for NEET UG.

Benefits of Limited Attempts in NEET UG

    1. One of the benefits of limited attempts in NEET UG will be the reduced competition.
    2. Limited attempts will simplify the admission process and reduce administrative burden.
    3. In case of failure in multiple attempts, students will be able to consider alternative career options quickly.
    4. It will lead to a more balanced age group presence in medical colleges.
    5. Limited attempts will make the examination process more efficient and manageable.

Drawbacks of Limited Attempts in NEET UG

    1. Limited attempts may pressure aspirants to perform well in the initial attempts.
    2. Students with lesser exposure to NEET will not get enough opportunities to prepare themselves.
    3. Limited opportunities may lead to a lack of confidence and increased fear of exams in students.

Government’s Stand on Suggested Changes By the Committee

The committee submitted the report earlier in October 2024, but there was no official statement from the Government or the Supreme Court on these changes. However, during the inauguration of the High-tech Education Workshop, Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, said that the Central Government is planning to implement the committee-suggested changes to various entrance exams so that they can be conducted more transparently.

Will There Be Limited Attempts in NEET 2026?

Now, after the committee’s suggestions and the Government’s statement, aspiring candidates are seeking confirmation on the limited attempts for NEET and want to know whether there will be limited attempts in NEET 2026 or not.

The direct answer to this question is no, there will be no limited attempts in NEET 2026. However, no official source claims these changes as of now. But there is no need to clarify this officially, because this will be no stranger or new thing; there has been no limit on the number of NEET attempts since it started.

If NTA would enforce the NEET limited attempts 2026, it would have already released a notification by now. There is no notification regarding this change so far; it means NTA is not going to enforce the rule of limited attempts in NEET 2026.

    PCP Sikar Test Series 2026

Other Suggested Changes in NEET by the Committee

The limited attempts rule was the most significant change on the list of changes the K Radhakrishna Committee suggested. Other potential changes might occur in the NEET UG exam procedure. These suggested changes are:

    1. The NEET UG exam should have multiple stages.
    2. There should be a hybrid model; it should be conducted in both offline and online modes.
    3. Cameras and AI algorithms should monitor the exam centres.
    4. The data security in NEET UG should be enhanced.

    Best NEET Coaching for Droppers
    Best NEET Coaching for Droppers

Top education hubs like Sikar have numerous NEET coaching centres with exceptional track records in final selection results at top MBBS colleges in India. However, there are not many of the best options available for droppers still today compared to regular 11th and 12th class batches. Then, what’s the best NEET coaching for droppers? Well, we can help you with that. By the end of this blog, you will know how to choose the best NEET coaching for droppers in any part of India!

Many students and parents often do not fully recognise the significant differences between NEET coaching centres for droppers and those for regular batches. Not all top NEET coaching centres are ideal for droppers. Why is this the case? This blog will clarify the distinctions and guide you through the selection process. Let us begin!

Best NEET Droppers Coaching: How is it Different?

Before getting into how to select the best NEET coaching for droppers, let’s first understand the difference between regular and dropper coaching. In India, numerous well-known and accomplished NEET coaching centres consistently deliver chart-topping results year after year. However, not many of these institutes are good for droppers students. The main reason behind this is that many of these coaching centres do not understand the importance of the curriculum difference between the regular and drop-out students.

By the term curriculum difference, we are not implying syllabus or books. We all know that the NEET paper is the same for everyone, regardless of whether they are a dropper or a regular 12th pass out. The difficulty in finding the best NEET dropper coaching in cities like Sikar stems from the fact that many institutions have failed to design a better in-campus curriculum for droppers that can beat the increasing competition in NEET every year.

Qualities of the Best Coaching for NEET Droppers

We have actively researched and compiled all the top qualities that a NEET dropper coaching must possess that can guarantee you the best coaching experience you deserve. Let us take a look at all of them below:

    1. Separate Curriculum

Planning and conducting a separate timetable is the most essential quality that a top NEET dropper coaching must have. It is very important for the droppers not to cross paths with regular NEET coaching students, as their classes are on both the board and NEET exams. Dropper’s schedule and time sheets must be separate and focus on covering topics on a priority basis from day 1 of their coaching.

    2. Regular Topic-Base Tests

Droppers only deal with the NEET syllabus throughout the 1-year course of the coaching period. Hence,  the institute must focus on topic-wise practice tests in addition to the weekly/regular mock tests to improve their knowledge on a deeper level in every important concept.

    3. Focus on NCERT

We all know the NCERT books are a major fundamental source that every NEET aspirant must focus on. So, it’s the NEET coaching centre’s responsibility to ensure that the droppers also make time for regular NCERT learning.

    4. Updated Study Material

Along with NCERT, a proper and updated study material is quite essential for NEET coaching for droppers to have in their catalogue. By the word “updated,” we mean that the study material provided by a NEET coaching institute must cover every minute concept from the official syllabus. Alongside, the study material must comprise a multitude of tricky questions that cover different concepts in a single question. This will help the student tackle such types of questions in the final exam.

Speaking of updates, study materials from coaching institutions should cover all advanced topics, subtopics, and other essential resources to provide students with a deeper understanding, which will help them achieve a higher score in the final exam. Also, the problems, puzzles, practice tests, and other questionnaires provided in the coaching institute’s study material must be very strategically designed that enhance students’ problem-solving skills.

    5. Proper Facilities and Undisputed Reputation in NEET Selections from Previous Dropper Batches

Expert teaching staff with expertise in dealing with droppers are much needed to encourage students with goal-oriented NEET coaching. Alongside, the campus must have all the facilities, including libraries, spacious study rooms, and an overall peaceful yet effective campus life. Having a residential campus is also a plus for non-commuters, but promising cleanliness, better food, and other basic facilities like playgrounds are a must for a healthier coaching experience for students.

Ultimately, you need to choose a coaching centre that has a proven track record of producing the highest possible selections from their dropper NEET section. The previous result board will give you some clarity about the institute’s dedication to the success of droppers.

Final Verdict- Which is the Best NEET Dropper Coaching in India

Well, the five major qualities are rare but still found in the most reputed coaching centres like PCP-Prince. Well, PCP-Prince excels in both academic and non-academic facilities for the dropper batches with a separate study wing, dedicated teaching staff, healthy study hours, and a clean academic environment.

PCP Prince also focuses on students’ extracurriculars, fitness, and stress management support with the help of experts from each department. If you’re looking for the best NEET coaching for droppers in India, PCP-Prince is the perfect answer.

    Safe Score for NEET 2026
    Safe Score for NEET 2026

Scoring the highest mark in a highly competitive test like NEET is crucial. However, not many students can determine the minimum and maximum marks they need to get the desired MBBS college. To help such students, we are presenting this blog entirely focused on the expected safe score for NEET 2026. So, let’s dive in!

The ultimate score of NEET entirely depends on the student’s performance in the final exam hall. Aiming for the highest score from the early stages of preparation is quintessential, but how high should that number be? Well, there is no official mark you should aim for in the upcoming NEET UG 2026. However, we can give you a certain number based on our analysis of the past few year’s results. So, let’s get started with this detailed blog about the expected safe score for NEET 2026.

What is a Safe Score for NEET?

The safe score is the minimum score that students need to get in the NEET test to secure admission in private or public government colleges in India. The safe score for NEET changes every year, and neither NTA nor BMC discloses any information about this particular score. The safe score also differs from person to person based on reservation status.

What is the difference Between the Safe and Cut-Off Score of NEET?

Most candidates are often confused about the safe score of NEET and the cut-off score. The major difference between the cut-off and safe score is that the cut-off is fixed by the NMC itself every year based on multiple statistics. Meanwhile, the NTA or NMC doesn’t decide or disclose the safe score information, which is practically unofficial.

Cut-Off Score is the minimum number a student must achieve in the final NEET exam to be eligible for further processes like Counselling. Meanwhile, a safe score is a score that a candidate needs to score to secure admission to the best colleges in India. Determining a specific safe score for college admission is challenging, even for NMC. Hence, unlike a cut-off, which is pre-fixated by officials, you will never see them in official documents.

Importance of Knowing the Expected Safe Score for NEET 2026

Knowing the safe score for NEET 2026 is quintessential, as this score motivates you to work hard for the upcoming test. A safe score gives you an idea of how much effort you must put into preparing to get admission to your desired medical college. Since the safe score also varies with the category, you will also get some details about the margin of marks that guarantees you the best seat in the future.
